September dates, hours and prices
The published season runs September 26–October 31. Saturday hours are 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; Sunday is 1–7 p.m. The regular Thursday–Friday schedule is 4–7 p.m., but opening day is Saturday, September 26: do not interpret the weekly schedule as a September 24 opening.

Paid admission includes one pumpkin. Two adults, one four-year-old and one eight-year-old total $83 at the posted rates, before any applicable fees, food or extras. A free toddler admission does not establish entitlement to an additional pumpkin.

The last hayride matters more than the gate closing time
The last hayride leaves one hour before closing. For a 7 p.m. closing, aim to be ready well before 6 p.m. if the ride is essential. Do not spend the whole afternoon in a maze and then discover you missed the pumpkin outing you promised your child.
Suggested order: ask staff about the day’s hayride timing when you arrive, choose a maze that fits the group, then fit the remaining play activities around the ride. Treat this as an unhurried farm visit, not a quick photo stop between two timed attractions.
Use the farm’s approach directions
The farm specifically warns visitors not to take Haggard Road just because a GPS suggests it. Its directions use Douglas Dam Road from TN-66, then Alder Branch Road. Save the official route before leaving. Pets are not allowed.
The farm has multiple mazes and children’s activities, so your group does not need to tackle every route to make the visit worthwhile. Pick a meeting spot outside the maze, stay together with younger children and take a bathroom break before entering. Bring footwear you can clean and space in the vehicle for the included pumpkins.
Who will enjoy this most?
Choose it when you want a fall farm outing as part of a Smokies vacation and will use both the maze and pumpkin component. Reconsider it if your only goal is a single pumpkin: several admissions can be a large purchase compared with buying produce at a market.
Older local discussions highlight how farm opening days can make or break a family plan. That is why the actual calendar deserves more attention than a generic “open in fall” listing. A September weekend and a Wednesday afternoon are not interchangeable.
Keep the rest of the day nearby
Allow time for your drive back before booking an evening show or dinner. Combining a full mountain drive, a farm visit and another ticketed attraction can leave very little room for traffic or a tired child. Save one of those experiences for another day.

2026 dates and rates checked against Kyker’s official listing on September 21, 2026. A local family discussion informed the emphasis on checking opening days; older posts are not treated as a current timetable or crowd forecast. This guide does not promise apple picking or sunflower fields at Kyker.
