Pumpkins and homemade ice cream, or a whole afternoon of farm fun? Southern Belle can be either. The trick is choosing the right day—and the right ticket.
You do not need an activity ticket just to browse the pumpkin patch. But if the kids are expecting the corn maze and rides, a weekday market visit will not deliver that plan.

- Best for: a pumpkin-and-treat stop or an outdoor activity day.
- Free to enter: the market, bakery and pumpkin patch. Purchases are extra.
- Paid activities: normally weekends; October 12 has a special opening.
- Budget example: four paying guests at the advertised peak rate total $99.80 before fees and extras.
- Plan around: weather, your ticket date and the youngest child's energy.
First, choose your kind of farm day
Keep it simple: pumpkins, the market and a treat
This is the option to consider if your family wants a seasonal outing without committing to a full activity ticket. Give the kids a pumpkin budget before you start browsing, then finish with one treat stop.
The posted market-and-patch hours are Wednesday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; Sunday, 1–7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday are normally closed.
Make an afternoon of it: paid activities
Public activities normally run Saturday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m., and Sunday, 1–7 p.m. Weekday activities are generally for field trips. The farm also lists Monday, October 12, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. for activities—use the dated ticket calendar to confirm your choice.

What will your family actually spend?
The advertised peak activity rate is $24.95 per paying guest; ages two and younger are free. Activity tickets must be bought online. These are admission-only planning examples:
| Paying guests | At $24.95 each |
|---|---|
| Three | $74.85 |
| Four | $99.80 |
| Five | $124.75 |
Add separately: checkout fees, pumpkins, food and any optional activities you choose. Do not assume accompanying adults are free; count everyone who needs admission before comparing plans.
For a short visit, the market-and-patch option keeps spending flexible. An activity ticket makes more sense when your children want several attractions and you have time to enjoy them.
A family plan that leaves room for fun
- Start with one must-do. Let each child name a priority, then pick the one that matters most while everyone has energy.
- Try the maze before everyone is tired. Agree to stay together and take a break if someone is done.
- Stop for food and water. A treat break is easier to enjoy before the afternoon turns into a search for something to eat.
- Leave the last activity optional. You do not have to complete every attraction to get a good family day.
With younger children, choose fewer activities and allow time to watch. With older kids, let them help choose the route and the spending limit.
Save room for homemade ice cream
The Country Market lists homemade vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and peach ice cream. Fall treats include fried pies, apple-cider doughnuts and apple-cider slushies; availability can change.
Make the stop work for your family: check the selection before promising a flavor, ask staff directly about allergies, and decide whether everyone gets their own treat or you will share. Ice cream is a fun finish; plan an actual meal too.

- Wipes and spare clothes: useful for young children after outdoor play.
- Your ticket confirmation: keep it easy to find on your phone.
- A secure spot for pumpkins: stop them rolling around the car.
